Boncom is looking for an Associate Creative Director to work on the Global and Hispanic
Initiative.

Boncom is an advertising and communications agency. We develop innovative and

At Boncom, you'll be responsible for wowing your creative directors with your ideas. You'll
spend a lot of time as a copywriter dreaming up ridiculously big ideas and bringing them to
life. Here's a brief look at the job responsibilities you'll have:

Be ultimately responsible for all Spanish and International (web, social media, radio, etc)
Knowledge/exposure to video production
A high level of Spanish language skills is a must, with a strong understanding of
grammar and usage rules.
Responsible for executing original concepts in a timely manner from the creative brief
through final release
Create original concepts and "transcreate" concepts and ideas from one
culture/language to another
Collaborate with other art directors and writers to create finished work for print ads, TV,
outdoor, Direct Mail, Collateral, Digital (Content and ads), social, UX and Activations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proficient in Spanish and experience creating content for Hispanic/international
audiences
Portuguese or another language a major plus
Strong copywriting skills and experience generating high-level, conceptual ideas
Experience writing and creating content for social media platforms
Knowledge of/exposure to video production (video editing skills a plus)
Experience creating content for web pages (may include publishing on a CMS)
Degree in Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, or Film/Video Production

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for equipment installation, maintenance, repairs and instructs staff on the proper use.
Responsible for troubleshooting radio automation system, consoles, remotes and all related broadcast equipment.
Provides 24 hour on call service
Performs preventative maintenance on station broadcast equipment.
Maintains FCC required WHUR-FM technical records.
Recommends replacement of outdated and/or un-repairable equipment.
Acts on behalf of the Director of Engineering and IT Services in his absence relating to WHUR-FM technical and operational matters.
Conducts site surveys to determine the technical requirements for WHUR-FM remotes as required.
Engineers WHUR remotes as assigned.
Drives radio station vehicles as required.
Assists the IT Coordinator in the installation of WHUR-FM computer systems.
Maintains Engineering log of maintenance tasks completed.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

Ability to use standard electronic test equipment such as volt meters
oscilloscopes, audio generators, audio analyzers, frequency counters and other equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Must have experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of transmitters, and associated RF equipment.
Knowledge of computers and radio broadcast system maintenance.
Strong communication skills and excellent documentation skills are required.
Competence in oral and written English.
Ability to supervise and instruct student interns in the functions of broadcast engineering department.
Ability to work harmoniously with the staff, officials and the general public.
Ability to be well versed in the FCC rules in regards to our broadcast operations.
Ability to work effectively without constant supervision.
Possess valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Must be capable of lifting at least 50 pounds and climb latter.
Occasional night and weekend work may be required.
SBE or Engineering certification desired.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Associate degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 3 years of responsible work experience in radio maintenance. In lieu of a degree, 5 years of work experience in radio engineering.

This position will be the liaison between programming and sales and
