POSITION OBJECTIVE: Oversee planning and execution of promotional efforts that meet the needs of the sales and programming departments, which would enhance revenue potential resulting in increased ratings. Be a fully contributing member of the Promotion and Marketing Department and help assure station’s goals and objectives are met with respect to advertisers, listeners and station image. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•Promotions/marketing background required with a minimum of three years in the field of broadcasting.
•Experience with event management, including logistical coordination, and execution.
•Experience with web content creation and maintenance as well as social media management.
•Experience with nurturing, managing and executing rewards programs.
•Possess strong written and verbal skills.
•Creative experience required successfully building and executing station sales promotions.
•Proven ability to initiate and work independently, if necessary, and operate effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
•Excellent organization of detail & project completion required.
•Possess an understanding of target audience’s lifestyle and interests.
•Computer literate.

Dallas based Radio Network targeting the African-American community is seeking a Manager, Sales Service for the Tom Joyner Morning Show and Weekend Show.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with Ad Sales, Programming, Engineering, Clearance, Affiliate Relations, Finance and Management to maximize revenue through the tactical implementation of perishable inventory management.

Requirements:
•Experienced in automated sales/traffic software program - knowledge of Counterpoint sales/traffic system preferred.
•Minimum 2 years Radio or TV Traffic/Continuity experience mandatory - network experience preferred.
•Team player, highly detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills and ability to work independently in a deadline driven environment.
•Ensure quality standards are met and comply with company client specifications.
•Ensure that problems that could jeopardize quality disrupt work flow, or impact cost and schedule objectives are reported immediately for corrective action.
•Exceptional organizational, problem solving and computer skills including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.

Education:
