Broadcasting Meteorologist

WXXV FOX 25/NBC 25, Gulfport/Biloxi, Mississippi on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast is looking for a full-time METEOROLOGIST to join our News Team. You will be on-air five days a week. We want someone who forecasts accurately, understands the Gulf Coast Weather, and knows the importance of a strong presentation. 

We need a person who understands the impact of a wide variety of weather conditions and is able to clearly convey this information to viewers. Candidates must have experience developing the weather story of the day with video, pictures and computer graphics tools. 

Working knowledge of The Weather Company/IBM Weather Graphics and strong social media skills moves you to the head of the class. A degree in Meteorology is preferred.

A good driving record is a must.  We utilize DMV & criminal background checks as a condition of employment.

WXXV-TV started News back in 2013. We now do seven hours of News each day.

WXXV is located a few miles from white sand beaches and just over one hour from New Orleans. This is a tourist destination with beaches, casinos and great seafood.
