KFOR News Channel 4 Oklahoma City is looking for A Digital Account Executive to represent our suite of digital media solutions and local news platforms as our digital sales lead. If you are a professional, customer-focused, self-starter who likes to win we want to hear from you.


Purpose/reason for this Position:

The Digital Account Executive is the digital marketing services sales lead and will report to the Digital Sales Manager. They will be responsible for pursuing digital media advertising sales. We’re seeking a persuasive digital professional who is passionate about digital media trends and who will relentlessly pursue business. The DAE will be responsible for generating and growing digital marketing service revenue for the company.


The DAE will thrive in a business development role, which includes identifying key prospects, cold calling, conducting in person and remote client meetings, identifying client needs, building strategy, effectively presenting proposals, and ultimately closing business. The ideal candidate will have proven success at selling a large portfolio of digital media solutions, including but not limited to, Targeted Video Solutions, Connected TV, Digital Audience and Reach Extensions, SEM, SEO, Social Strategy, Email Marketing, and Mobile, as well superior knowledge of new and emerging digital advertising technologies and strategies.


Core Job Functions:

  • Responsible for driving new digital sales (by assessing and facilitating the use of best practices in solutions-based selling), and upselling of existing key account advertisers.
  • Selling interactive, online/digital advertising solutions using metrics such as page views, ad impressions, click-throughs, time visible, and client ROI.
  • Selling Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), YouTube TrueView Video Ads, and Targeted Display Advertising.
  • Identifying and understanding the clients’ advertising needs and developing ideal marketing solutions.
  • Establish, maintain, and grow meaningful client relationships.
  • Develop effective and efficient digital marketing strategies for agencies and direct clients.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive and compelling proposals recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Effectively utilize all sales tools and resources provided to research, develop, and execute digital ad campaigns.
  • Have a level understanding of digital platforms, targeting capabilities, campaign execution, and digital metrics and analytics.
  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals.


Minimum Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are required.  Must possess a valid Driver's License (or be able to obtain one).  Individual must also have strong computer skills.  Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, and WordPress is preferred.


The Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Sales Experience Preferred
  • Knowledge of digital marketing services and effective use for clients.
  • Willingness to learn new digital tactics and selling styles.
  • Ability to independently develop advanced and value-based digital strategy recommendations.
  • Ability to analyze digital performance metrics, identify trends and make appropriate recommendations for campaign refinement and/or optimizations.
