As Audience Acquisition Specialist, you will manage SEO and social media acquisition strategy across Bonneville’s portfolio of websites and apps, as well as our podcast, video, and audio offerings. Additionally, you will develop best practices for attracting digital audience, lead SEO and social media acquisition training for editorial teams and help inform editorial decision-making across our local news and sports properties. This person should understand the technical intricacies of SEO and social media acquisition, while also being well-versed in the art of attracting digital audience.
This is a remote role where the employee may report to work in-person on occasion or not at all.
To work on Company premises, or with clients / members of the public at other locations, Bonneville employees must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or evidence of a negative COVID-19 test within the previous seven days.
Manage SEO strategy across Bonneville's digital properties (websites, apps, podcasts, live audio and video)
Manage social media acquisition strategy
Monitor search trends to inform editorial decision making
Develop best practices and provide training across multiple markets for growing digital audience to editorial properties
Work with data intelligence team to identify most desirable audience segments
Manage YouTube search strategy and performance
Coordinate with third-party distributors to expand marketing opportunities
Identify and champion new ways of optimizing content for discoverability
Work closely with development team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in new code
Track, report, and analyze website analytics as they related to organic audience acquisition
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Thorough understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM and social media
Experience with digital analytics including Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter, YouTube Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Webmaster tools
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Experience working in digital media marketing
Ability to work well under pressure and under deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline.
Experience with A/B experiments
Knowledge of search engine algorithms
Experience with website optimization tools
Up-to-date knowledge on latest in search and social trends
HIRING COMPENSATION RANGE: $50,000 - $60,000 annually depending on experience
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
