CBN News- Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a News Producer who will produce news segments and programs, stories, special projects, and internet and social media content.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Excellent, network-level writing and producing skills for broadcast, web and social media
  • Working knowledge of national and international news issues
  • Working knowledge of network news production and post-production
  • Knowledge of digital media production and internet content creation
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills for broadcast and Internet
  • Strong ability to show and tell compelling news stories with strong visual elements
  • Proficient in MS Office, Internet, Social Media and video editing software
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with the public and co-workers in a positive professional manner
  • Flexible with ability to work well in high stress changing news environment and consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to travel as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field
