POSITION PURPOSE:
As Traffic Reporter/Editor of KTAR-FM, you will play a critical role in delivering live, on-air traffic reports, gathering relevant information such as crashes, road construction and breaking traffic news to be reported by traffic reporters on shift. We’re looking for a highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented professional to stay engaged and alert of all traffic news updates, gather timely traffic information, execute traffic alerts and contribute to the digital content distribution of breaking traffic news. This position will also be a part of the KTAR newsroom. As news editor, you will write, report, conduct interviews and go live on news stories of the day. This part-time position is an opportunity for a hungry broadcast professional with a desire to contribute to a winning team and lead a traffic department within the newsroom.

Daily Traffic Reporting [2p-3:15p, as needed fill-in from 3:30p-6:45p]
