Operations Manager

Flag Family Media in Fargo, North Dakota has a full-time opening for an Operations Manager.  We work in a state of the art building with new equipment and an energetic team that loves to work and compete together as we operate 3 radio stations and produce digital content. 

We are looking for someone that has a basic understanding of broadcast systems with some management experience.  This person will record and produce audio for commercials and programs, load audio, work with traffic on schedules and templates, oversee a small team of operators and production team members, troubleshoot off-air situations, work with engineering to ensure effective transmission, monitor commercial logs, import commercials, provide creative imaging services including voice ID’s and promos, and help as needed producing live programs. 

Requirements:

• Extremely organized and able to effectively prioritize tasks while being attentive to details.

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to interface with team and management.

• Creative problem solving to make spontaneous decisions under time constraints.

• Strong technical skills including knowledge of basic audio editing equipment.
