Sales Administrator

Job Description
Kindred Communications is looking for a sales administrator and assistant. This role will work with national and regional marketing representatives to secure advertising by providing rates, metrics, and various other reports as well as inputting these advertising orders into a computer system. The person will also work closely with management in developing sales packages and delivering reports on current and future business. This motivated and outgoing individual will also be trained to handle the scheduling of advertising orders and copy (traffic) as well as assist station guests during the day.
Objectives of this Role
Work cooperatively on multiple projects with management, promotions, and sales teams, and meet deadlines.
Facilitate current business from regional and national advertisers.
Assist management with sales reports and developing sales packages.
See to station guests as needed.
Assist with traffic duties when needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Prior broadcast experience is preferred, but not required.
Prior experience in sales/marketing is preferred, but not required.
Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Excellent communication skills.
Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
