Sales & Sports Play by Play

salary $4000.00 per month
location Iowa
time Full Time
Job Start Date: 6/1/22

You love sports broadcasting, but you don’t necessarily love the pay or the current job duties that come with it. If you’re looking for a chance to earn more - even control how much you earn - and still keep your passion for sportscasting alive, this is the position for you.

This is your opportunity to take over an existing sales territory and work alongside a 40+ year sports broadcaster as he prepares to retire. Raccoon Valley Radio is looking for its next sales/sports broadcasting professional. No experience in sales is necessary; we are willing to train. Experience in play-by-play and sports story writing is preferred.

Job duties include meeting monthly sales goals and calling play-by-play for local high school sports, coaches interviews, and sports story writing. Salary and benefits are very competitive. This is your chance to use that competitive nature to make yourself more money in a more stable environment, without giving up your passion for sportscasting.

If you’re interested in learning more call John McGee (515) 386-2222 or e-mail johnmcgee@raccoonvalleyradio.com, Raccoon Valley Radio is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
