As a Social Media and Influencer Marketing Director, you will be responsible for leading the vision and strategy for influencer marketing and social media for Boncom's clients.
In this role you will develop and maintain strong relationships with social influencers, thoughtfully engage them to spread the messages of our clients, and think of newer, bigger, and more creative ways to leverage influencer marketing on behalf of our clients. You will also create strategies for social media marketing, including creating and maintaining editorial calendars, online reputation management, and creating social content. You will manage a growing team of 1-3 direct reports.
Five+ years of experience in marketing and/or partnerships, such as experience in influencer, celebrity, communications, marketing and/or social media experience
Highly effective communication skills and excellent diplomacy
Comfortable navigating the complexities of a busy agency with many clients
Must have a good handle on current trending influencers and culture
Comprehensive understanding of all social platforms
Have a strong network with influencers
Advertising agency experience
Big picture thinker
A creative strategist
Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
Excellent negotiating skills
Event planning experience
Adept in creative problem solving, extremely resourceful and proactive
Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Excellent writing, presentation, and communications skills
Proven ability to think analytically to measure and present the value of social media and influencer marketing
Responsibilities of this role:
Develop a vision and approach for social media and influencer marketing for a variety of organizations and audiences.
Identify emerging opportunities and trends in the influencer marketing space and evolve strategy and tactics to stay ahead.
Oversee, direct, and/or execute strategy planning, asset creation, content publishing, engagement, and reporting and analytics for social media efforts.
Oversee, direct, and/or execute influencer research, activation and campaign execution, influencer network nurturing activities and events, and reporting and analytics for influencer marketing efforts.
Develop partnership strategies in collaboration with other teams at Boncom including PR, account management, media science, and creative.
