The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), a leader in Christian media, has a new opening for a top-notch Videographer/Editor in Nashville, TN.  As a member of our production team, this creative professional will use state-of-the-art equipment to capture network-quality images for inspirational features and world news segments as well as live coverage of disaster relief efforts around the globe.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

·  Preferred two years’ experience in video field production, or a B.A. in video production

· Working knowledge of state-of-the-art video camera, lighting and audio production techniques and equipment operation

· Ability to perform advanced remote production functions involving lighting, directing and audio recording

· Intermediate knowledge of computer editing systems, software and related equipment as well as creative concepts of editing composition with ability to learn and apply new and advanced technology quickly

· Thorough knowledge of TV production in remote locations

· Strong directing photography and reenactment shooting skills

· Ability to work independently and as an effective production team member to include operating as a one-man band on field assignments

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Good communication skills and ability to make timely decisions

· Good organizational skills with attention to details

· Ability to give directions clearly, as well as take directions

· Ability to travel extensively and work nights and weekends

· Valid driver’s license and a good driving record

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time; ability to bend and lift up to 50lbs
